Inspired by the beauty of the world, Michael's interest with photography began over 20 years ago. He has traveled extensively, as a child and an adult, and feels that his photography captures the splendor of different locales and cultures.A self-taught artist, Michael has learned to master the art of photography in a variety of areas including still life, nature/wildlife, informal portraiture, travel, and macro photography. Stubbornly trekking rain forests and mountainous back country, along with more civilized expeditions, his images capture elusive and beautiful moments in time. All of Michael's prints are original depictions of the transitory beauty of the natural and constructed world.
Michael's images are available as note cards, matted prints, framed prints and stock photography to businesses and consumers worldwide. His work has been featured in galleries as well, including charity and corporate auctions.
